Be One with Nature (Another abstract)

wow I love this week, because it is a week of holiday for all the highschool in Indonesia. but most of all, i could do all  my hobbies in peace and it got me so productive. I've written 4 posts (this post is counted) for this blog and 2 for other blog in this week, I'm creating art like crazy, watching movies, reading books and so on. (have i mentioned homework?)

so i made another painting yesterday. another abstract. you probably still wonder the style of my artwork because you find many kind of medium and style scattered here on my blog hehe. i dont focus in only one stream. my artwork is not forever abstract or forever portrait or doodle because  i'm a kind of moody and i love to make something new that attracts me. that's why you'll find many different things here. or that's probably because i still on my way to find the best for me. it's not a big deal though, as i do enjoy what i'm working on.

lately abstract has its turn to entice me. It is a very good way to experiment things. I can fully muster all my feelings into the canvas by abstract. often the ideas come as the progress is going like a painting i did yesterday. i had no idea what would it be. but as i kept my hand moving, the idea suddenly came up like a whoooosh

as i'd stung by concrete idea, the soul gathered in one and pour its self through the brushes.

Let Spontaneous Leads You

I was very baffled by the choices of books were displayed along the shelves. it was like.. God, they're so tempting, if only i could buy 10 of them. but NO!, yelled my money. so i came to the conclusion that i had to wisely pick 3 of them and it takes such long time to make it. and finally i could bring three to the cashier and I'm so glad that i've picked it right because now i have a book titled "kreatif sampai mati" by Wahyu Aditya (creative until die/forever creative) that gave me bunches of inspirations.

it said that being creative is a choice. it is not a gift like what most of people say, it is nor forever connected with art. you can involve creativity in everything that you're doing. and it is not mingled in blood since born, it's about how often you involve it, how often you practice it. So erase thought that says "I'm not supposed to do this kind of things, i'm not creative" because everyone have chance to make their self become creative. it's just about do you want to grow it or not.

it was interesting when it came to a page that talks about "spontaneous." yes i often keeping my hand still just by thinking "what to draw? what would it means? it sounds interesting but i wanna make something different..." something like that. it's not important. and worse, it sometime ended me putting back all my drawing tool and let the blank paper stay blank. keeping the abstract ideas in my head stay abstract, resulting no concretion.

now i have to believe that as I keep making one, the intuition will lead me. so, there should be no worries about lacking stock of ideas and just move your hand.

i started to wipe away all the unimportant thoughts when I'm about to create something. i wanna let my hands know the feels of freedom. i won't let my passion's trapped inside.

Experiment In Saturday Morning

in the gloomy sky of saturday, i stuck at home and tried to do something which seem worth time spending. i surfed my twitter timeline and other mass media but got tired of it soon. most of them fulfilled with news which seem never sleep recently, a flood in jakarta. yes, jakarta is a capital city of my country. a flood is something so usual happening in jakarta, but usually it's never gone this bad. well, i hope people would not taking this only as a disaster and pointing government to blame but also take a learning to start participate recovering this lovely capital country by real action.

and by the way as we can only meet weekend 2 days per week, I won't miss every second of it just by lying and squirming and... well yeah i love and hate this one. eating.

and I had spent lots of time at school day which gave less contribution to develop my passion. i'm not saying that the rest thing out of art is junk. no. i just won't miss the mood and moment where i have a chance to turn a blank into something more attractive.

this morning with only a TiTi crayon that must be belonging to mostly 3th graders, i made something. well this is not actually my best piece of art, nor a prettiest figure ever made by me. i just love how an experiment worked here. as i've never used this coloring technique before.

hehe, like i told you, this is not a best coloring i ever made, but i love seeing the progress.
